- Key Ingredients: almond milk, almond oil, and honey
- How I use it: On old stretched hair using a nickel sized amount to each section and either braid or twist those sections (with or without spritzing my hair with a little water depending on how dry/stiff/tangled my hair is)
I'm reallllyyy late with this review and considering I typically don't review a lot of products, this one was worth it. I've have had this Camille Rose Naturals Almond Jai Twisting Butter for about 5 months now and it has been my GO TO when retwisting on dry hair. So what makes this butter different from the other butters and creams that I use? Long lasting moisture and softness! Strangely enough, my hair still feels almost damp several days after applying without having to reapply or seal with any other product (and y'all know I love adding gel to just about everything). And considering I've only used it on "old" hair, it really does a great job at remoisturizing my hair without having to apply too much product. I haven't used this butter on wet hair as of yet but I'm sure the result would be the same. It's a bit expensive and not readily available on the ground, but considering the moisture it delivers I would definitely purchase again.
